Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show: Saturday March 13th (Yes we are open Sunday the 14th) is the 20th annual Ewe-topia Herddogs Show at the Seattle Kennel Club dog show at the Qwest Field Event Center, S. Royal Brougham Way & Occidental Ave in Seattle is no exception. Ten different breeds will herd ducks thru a course that will entertain and educate you about the wonders of herding. July 24th Ewe-topia Herd dogs will be doing their annual demonstration at the Dog-a-thon at Steilacoom Park in Lakewood for the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County . The show is usually at 10:00 am and will feature six different breeds herding ducks thru a course.
2009
Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show: For 18 years Ewetopia has done an on site demonstration of every herd dogs potential and expertise at the Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show. This March 7th at 11 and 1 at the Qwest Field Event Center, S. Royal Brougham Way & Occidental Ave in Seattle is no exception. This year as well as ducks, sheep will be herded thru obstacles by dogs of all shape, sizes and ages.

Capital Press: Tuesday January 30th. This weekly newspaper focuses on agriculture businesses. "They didn’t start out with it as a goal but, since establishing Ewe-topia in 1992, partners Joe Kapelos and Linda Leeman have done more to educate people about the role and training of herding dogs and general dog-owner responsibility than a lot of people actually in the agriculture industry." Helping the US Army: Ewe-topia sheep are helping the Army's Striker group prepare for deployment to Iraq. This first time event was covered by the Associated Press,local television news broadcasts and newspapers. CLICK HERE to read the many newspaper articles.
Puyallup Fair: For the 6th year Ewe-topia students and instructors have been invited by Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County to do two demonstrations at the Puyallup Fair. See pictures from this year's demos here
Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show: Saturday, March 12, 2005 marks Ewe-topia's 14th annual demonstration of herd dog potential and expertise. Ducks are herded through a little agility course by 10 different breeds. The event is at Qwest Field Event Center, S. Royal Brougham Way & Occidental Ave in Seattle with shows at 10:30 & 12:30. ASCA Fun Trial: Saturday May 7th all day, Joe and Linda will be hosting their annual ASCA Fun Trial for Ewe-topia students who are at competition level. This year the event will be at Stewart's Arena in McKenna. Only dogs who are competing are allowed in the building and all dogs must be crated/confined or on leash on the property. Great spectator viewing area and snack bar available on site. All level of students are encouraged to attend.
Tacoma Dog-A-Thon: Saturday July 16, 2005. The Herd Dog Demonstration for this fund raiser included five breeds: cardigan welsh corgi, Australian cattle dog, border collie, Rottweiler, and Australian shepherd.
2004
Puyallup Fair: Ewe-topia was invited for the 5th year by the Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County to put on an exhibition at the Fair. This year will feature over ten breeds and many shelter rescues. Pictures.
On TV: Ewe-topia is one of the local icons featured on "My Home Town" The episode featuring Roy will be shown in Pierce County on Comcast channel 76 the month of October every Monday and Sunday at 7 pm, every Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 pm, every Thursday at 5 pm and every Saturday at 10:30 pm. The Olympian: On June 20th Steve Bloom and Jeff Smith of the Olympian Newspaper visited Ewe-topia for a feature article in their South Sound Living section. The story was published on Saturday June 26th.

Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show: January 31, 2004 was Ewe-topia's 13th annual invitation to present a duck herding demonstration as part of this Seattle tradition. Ducks were herded with 10 different breeds ranging in age from 12 weeks to 12 years . The dogs maneuver the ducks over ramps, through tunnels and down slides. Pictures from the show are by Phil Asay.
